Privacy policy

This revision is effective from 01.01.2026. The policy explains what data we collect when you pay and use the site, why we need it and how long we keep it.

1. Who processes the data

The data operator is MAKS SISTEMLARI PLUS LLC, Azerbaijan, Baku, Azadlig ave. 70, apt. 118, AZ1106. Data questions: support@exezine.az.

2. What we collect

• Payment data: amount, currency, purpose, date and status, order and transaction identifiers.
• Payer data: e-mail address, name and phone — if you provide them on the payment page or the recipient requires them.
• Limited card data: the scheme, the first six and last four digits, the cardholder name and the issuing country, as passed to us by the bank. The full card number, expiry date and CVV never reach us and are not stored — they are entered on the bank’s secure page.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, interface language, pages visited and payment-form events — for fraud prevention and service improvement.
• Cookies: the chosen language, the colour theme and a session identifier.

3. Why we process it

• To carry out the payment and deliver the funds to the recipient.
• To send you a receipt and confirmation of the transaction.
• To handle enquiries, process refunds and investigate disputes.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
• To comply with the law and payment scheme rules, including record keeping.

4. Who we share it with

Only with parties without whom the payment cannot happen: the acquiring bank and the payment scheme, the recipient of the payment (to the extent needed to identify it), and technical providers of hosting and e-mail delivery, under confidentiality terms. Data may be disclosed to public authorities upon a lawful request. We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for advertising.

5. How long we keep it

Transaction records are kept for the period required by law for payment documents, and in any case for at least five years from the transaction date. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months. Enquiry records — three years from the last message.

6. Your rights

You may request information about your data, ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, withdraw consent to marketing messages and request deletion where we have no lawful basis to keep it. Send your request to support@exezine.az; we reply within 30 calendar days.

7. How we protect data

The connection to the site is protected by TLS, card details are transmitted under PCI DSS rules, and staff access is limited to work tasks and logged. Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes and service secrets are encrypted.

8. Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies. Essential ones — language, theme and the session identifier: the site does not work without them and they are always set. Analytics ones — visit statistics (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica): they are set only after your consent, which we ask for on your first visit. Until you consent, the analytics services receive no data about you. Any cookie can be deleted in your browser settings — this does not affect your ability to pay.

9. Changes to this policy

A new revision is published on this page with its date. By continuing to use the site after publication you accept the updated revision. The Russian version prevails in case of discrepancies.
